TinyMCE
Need this to become more of an integration project. Why use Mozile when there is TinyMCE? There have to be many of these editors around. I must be able to reduce the functionality, remove some that confusing toolbar, but otherwise, it looks great.
What other editors are there? The one thing that I need, that I don’t see, is embedded objects.
UPDATE: Why use Mozile? Why reinvent the wheel? License incompatibility. Why else? TinyMCE is licensed GPL, script.taculo.us and myself are licensed MIT.
Besides. I’d like to start an editor that is not toolbar based. Start it out as a drop target for links. It should be about links and quotes, and not formatting.
